Dina is originally from Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she moved in Dix Hills on Long Island right before the end of her junior year. Her two brothers are Gregory, her older brother, and Evan. She began her career in entertainment when she was nine and was modeling. She began her training in acting at The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York in which she learned Sanford Meisner's techniques for acting along in conjunction with Ron Stetson, for about three years. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among the other actors who received such education. Her first acting role came from Beverly Hills 90210. This required her moving out in Los Angeles. She was cast as the leading lady in Johnny Mnemonic in which she was able to perform almost every stunt herself, and established herself as a skilled actress. In addition to the agency that represented Matt LeBlanc and agent, she was also in charge of a variety of recurring roles in the show Friends.
