Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. Her career began as an actress in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she played reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt as well as a supporting part in the short-lived show The Ex List. In the initial season, she starred in the role of Moira O'Hara in the role of a young Moira and in the second season she was Kaylee. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead, and Sophie on the NBC show This Is Us. She also voiced several characters from Family Guy's animated comedy series. She is currently the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe the character of Netflix's series Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien in Connecticut. She relocated to California with her mother at the age of 10. They moved around for one year before finally moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge was first interested in singing, acting, and photography at 13. Breckenridge moved back to Los Angeles with the help of her mother at age 15.
